JULY 18TH 2005

We went to the beach today, it was really hot. Unfortunately, just before we left, our sturdy beach umbrella gave in due to the high wind, and hit someones car ! At first the owner of the car wanted us to pay for a three new panels to repair the side of his car. Then, I wiped away all of the scratches except one (which I think was there before our 100 plastic umbrella hit his car - infact there were loads of old scratches all over his car). Eventually we came to an agreement and we gave him 30 pounds in cash, and he was happy.I think we got off lucky.
I think it was Koo's first time at the beach. He liked walking in the water, but wasn't really into the crashing waves.
I couldn't let Koo off the lead because there were so many people at the beach today, but he still got to swim just the same.

And then as soon as Koo could touch the bottom, he ran to shore to avoid having a wave crash over him.

Koo has calmed down quite alot recently, and we are getting used to having him. Yesterday some friends of ours came over with their Minature Toy Poodle bitch called "Iriya". She had ribbons in her hair etc, and I thought she looked a bit daft, but Koo took a liking too her. I wonder what Jack Russel cross Minature Toy Poodle puppies would look like ?
